WHAT'S YOUR FACE SHAPE?
There are 6 main face shapes- oval, rectangle, round, square, heart and diamond. You'll find variations of these, and you might even have a face that is similar to more than one shape. To figure out which shape your face is closest to, follow these three steps:
Step 1 - Stand up straight in front of the mirror with your shoulders back. Make sure you have good lighting that is not focused on a specific area of the face.
Step 2 - Move your hair completely off your face. Using a marker and a steady hand, outline your face, starting from the chin. (Don’t include your ears)
Step 3 - Judge the outline and match it with the shapes mentioned above below.
It's important to know your face shape when shopping for sunglasses, or trying to decide on a hairstyle. Each face shape has corresponding shapes and styles that work best to complement it. You can even use your face shape to determine the best eyebrow shape for you too!
